London FIBS Party 2004

The location was the upper floor of a bar/disco that Diane had chosen, after some problems finding a suitable place. One of the problems was, of course, that it was unclear how many people would attend. But in the end, everything worked out nicely. We could stay a little longer than planned, paying a moderate extra fee.
After the event Diane, zdoc and I stayed in the disco below until we were thrown out (I still wonder whether that happened because I went to the women's toilet?). Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of that, and if, they are surely lost ;-).
I didn't know some of the names. If you could tell me the missing ones, I would be grateful!

The photos below are from the Notting Hill Carnival where Diane and I went on one of the following days. The costumes were amazing, and so was the crowd ;-). The Notting Hill subway station was actually closed, and the whole quarter was flooded with people strolling past booths and dancefloors. In the middle of all was the parade which must have circled at least twice through Notting Hill.
